CerAnode’s TCHPCUST Coupon Housing with ER Probe is a customizable coupon housing combined with an electrical-resistance (ER) probe for real-time corrosion monitoring. The housing protects the coupon and ER sensing element in a stable, controlled environment, making it ideal for long-term cathodic protection evaluation.

This assembly lets you measure both polarization behavior and corrosion rate by combining a conventional coupon with an embedded ER probe. Designed for flexibility, the TCHPCUST can be engineered to match your site’s backfill, soil conditions, and monitoring requirements.

• Connect Probe: Wire the ER probe to a data logger or test station capable of accurate resistance measurement with temperature compensation.
• Add Reference / Test Leads: Install reference electrodes and test leads to support potential monitoring, IR-free measurements, and snapshot corrosion data.
• Commission: Energize the CP system and take baseline readings. Log initial resistance and coupon response to establish starting corrosion behavior.
• Routine Monitoring: Collect ER data at regular intervals (daily or weekly) and compare against baseline values to track corrosion trends.
