Coupon Housing with ER Probe (TCHP-CUST)

CerAnode’s TCHPCUST Coupon Housing with ER Probe is a customizable coupon housing combined with an electrical-resistance (ER) probe for real-time corrosion monitoring. The housing protects the coupon and ER sensing element in a stable, controlled environment, making it ideal for long-term cathodic protection evaluation.

This assembly lets you measure both polarization behavior and corrosion rate by combining a conventional coupon with an embedded ER probe. Designed for flexibility, the TCHPCUST can be engineered to match your site’s backfill, soil conditions, and monitoring requirements.

Key Features & Benefits

Materials & Design

  • Integrated ER Probe: Monitors changes in electrical resistance, translating metal loss into real-time corrosion rate measurements.
  • Durable Coupon Material: Coupon can be manufactured from the same alloy as the protected structure for representative polarization behavior.
  • Conductive Backfill Optional: Housing can be filled with Loresco® Coke to improve electrical contact and reduce spread resistance, enhancing measurement stability.
