APS Materials, Inc. was established in 1975 by a team of dedicated materials engineers with a vision to revolutionize the metal and ceramic coating industry. What started as a small operation in Dayton, OH, USA, has grown to be a worldwide thermal spray coating provider specializing in advanced coating solutions for the aerospace, biomedical, electronics, and cathodic protection industries.
Our founders’ expertise in materials science and engineering has been the cornerstone of APS’s success. Backed by decades of experience, we work closely with our clients to develop coating solutions that solve their unique engineering challenges and extend the lifetime of critical components.
In 1984, we founded CerAnode Technologies International, our division dedicated to cathodic protection, after an exclusive technology transfer from the US Army Corps of Engineers. All our CerAnode products are proudly manufactured in the United States of America.
Today, we remain a family-owned and operated company rooted in research and development and centered on our values of technical expertise, customer service, and continuous improvement. With three global locations, we’re dedicated to bringing our thermal spray knowledge to our clients, wherever they are.
