Overview
The ACL-CS Linear Grounding System is a continuous grounding and AC-mitigation solution engineered for pipelines, storage tanks, utility corridors, and other buried or above-ground metallic structures. Utilizing a stranded copper conductor surrounded by conductive backfill and enclosed in a permeable protective sock, the system delivers stable, low-resistance contact with the surrounding soil for effective grounding and current dissipation.
Designed for trenching, plowing, and directional-drill installations, the ACL-CS provides reliable grounding performance in environments where conventional ground rods or bare copper conductors may be ineffective. Its continuous linear configuration improves electrical continuity, reduces resistance-to-earth, and supports long-term AC corrosion mitigation and personnel safety.
Key Features & Benefits
Continuous Grounding Design
Provides a continuous low-resistance grounding path for improved AC mitigation and stray-current dissipation across long pipeline or structure runs.
Conductive Backfill System
Integrated conductive backfill enhances soil contact, lowers resistance-to-earth, and maintains stable grounding performance in varying soil conditions.
Flexible Copper Conductor
Stranded copper conductor supports trenching, plowing, and directional-drill installations while maintaining excellent electrical conductivity and mechanical durability.
Corrosion-Resistant Construction
Protective sock and corrosion-inhibiting backfill help extend service life and maintain long-term grounding stability in aggressive soil environments.
Factory-Packaged Configuration
Delivered preassembled on reels in continuous lengths to reduce field splicing, simplify installation, and improve overall system reliability.
