Multi-Channel Rectifier (REC)

Power Sources & CP Control Equipment

CerAnode multi-channel rectifier cabinet
REC

Overview

CerAnode™ REC Multi-Channel Rectifiers are advanced DC power supplies engineered to independently power multiple impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) circuits from a single unit. Designed for complex corrosion protection systems, each output channel provides individually adjustable voltage or current to optimize protection across multiple structures or anode beds.

Built for flexibility and long-term reliability, the REC platform simplifies system design by consolidating multiple cathodic protection circuits into one centralized power source. Configurable output channels, remote monitoring capability, and rugged industrial construction make the REC an ideal solution for pipelines, storage terminals, refineries, marine facilities, and other large-scale ICCP installations.

Key Features & Benefits

Independent Multi-Channel Output

Multiple isolated output channels allow individual adjustment of current and voltage for separate anode beds, pipelines, tanks, or protected structures.

Precise DC Output Control

Configurable constant-current, constant-voltage, or application-specific control modes help optimize cathodic protection performance across multiple circuits.

Centralized Power Distribution

A single rectifier powers multiple protection zones, reducing equipment footprint, installation costs, and ongoing maintenance.

High-Efficiency Rectifier Design

Modern rectifier technology delivers stable, low-ripple DC output while minimizing electrical losses and maximizing long-term reliability.

Remote Monitoring & System Integration

Available with digital metering, SCADA compatibility, remote monitoring, alarms, and data logging for simplified system management and performance tracking.

Typical Applications

  • Multi-zone pipeline cathodic protection systems
  • Storage tank farms with independent protection circuits
  • Refineries and petrochemical processing facilities
  • Marine terminals and waterfront infrastructure
  • Industrial plants with multiple anode beds or protected assets
  • Large distributed ICCP systems requiring centralized power management

Installation & Accessories

Flexible Mounting Configurations

Designed for wall, pole, skid, or pad-mounted installation to accommodate a wide range of project requirements.

Independent Circuit Connections

Each output channel supports dedicated low-resistance connections to individual anode beds and cathodic protection circuits.

Integrated Surge Protection

Available with AC and DC surge arrestors to protect rectifier components and connected CP systems from transient voltage events.

Monitoring System Compatibility

Compatible with SCADA platforms, remote monitoring systems, interruption devices, and cathodic protection test equipment.

Custom Configuration Options

Available with single-phase or three-phase input power, configurable output channels, control systems, enclosure styles, and monitoring accessories.

Documentation

Engineered for your application

No two cathodic protection systems are identical. Tell us the current requirement, electrolyte and installation constraints and we will configure the anode around them.
