Overview
The CerAnode™ PBT PiggyBack™ Tank Bottom System is a continuous MMO linear anode system engineered for impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) of aboveground storage tank (AST) bottoms. Designed for close-proximity deployment, the system delivers uniform current distribution beneath the tank floor for reliable corrosion protection and extended asset life.
Factory-assembled in concentric loop configurations, the PBT arrives ready for installation with integrated header connections that eliminate most field splices and simplify deployment. Its linear design improves electrical efficiency, lowers circuit resistance, and supports stable long-term cathodic protection performance.
The CerAnode™ PBT is ideal for new tank construction, re-bottom projects, double-bottom tanks, and secondary containment applications where space, current distribution, and long-term reliability are critical.
