Triple Coupon Housing (TCHP)

AC & DC Coupons

CerAnode triple coupon housing for AC and DC corrosion monitoring
TCHP

Overview

The CerAnode™ TCHP Triple Housing Coupon is an integrated corrosion monitoring assembly engineered for long-term cathodic protection (CP) performance evaluation and corrosion-rate analysis. Combining three corrosion coupons with an integrated reference electrode in a sealed housing, the system provides accurate in-situ monitoring of structure polarization, coating performance, and metal-loss behavior under representative field conditions.

Designed for permanent installation in buried or submerged environments, the TCHP system supports reliable long-term CP monitoring without excavation or system interruption. Its multi-coupon configuration enables instant-off measurements, IR-free potential analysis, and advanced corrosion monitoring for improved integrity assessment and CP system validation.

Key Features & Benefits

Integrated Coupon & Reference Electrode System

Combines multiple corrosion coupons and a stable reference electrode within a single sealed monitoring assembly.

IR-Free Potential Measurement Capability

Supports instant-off measurements and minimizes IR-drop error for improved CP accuracy and structure potential analysis.

Advanced Multi-Coupon Monitoring

Supports simultaneous polarized, depolarized, and native-state corrosion monitoring for enhanced CP analysis and system evaluation.

Long-Term Environmental Stability

Sealed housing and contaminant-resistant design maintain stable performance in buried and submerged service environments.

Configurable System Design

Available with multiple coupon sizes, cable lengths, reference chemistries, and lead configurations to match project-specific monitoring requirements.

Typical Applications

  • Buried pipeline cathodic protection monitoring
  • Storage tank and vessel corrosion monitoring
  • Coating holiday and localized corrosion evaluation
