CerAnode™ Product

Loresco® Coke

Cable & Installation

Green bag of Loresco SC-3 earth contact backfill

Overview

CerAnode™ Loresco® Coke Breeze is a high-purity carbon backfill designed to enhance the performance and service life of impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) groundbeds. Surrounding the anode with a conductive carbon medium reduces groundbed resistance, improves current distribution, and promotes efficient current discharge into the surrounding electrolyte.

Specified for new installations and groundbed rehabilitation projects, Loresco® Coke Breeze is widely used in deep anode beds, shallow groundbeds, and distributed anode systems protecting pipelines, storage tanks, marine structures, and other critical infrastructure. Its consistent particle size and high carbon content provide reliable, long-term performance in demanding cathodic protection applications.

Key Features & Benefits

Reduces Groundbed Resistance

Creates a conductive environment around the anode to improve current discharge and increase overall cathodic protection system efficiency.

Extends Anode Service Life

Promotes uniform current distribution while reducing localized current density that can contribute to premature anode wear.

High-Purity Carbon Backfill

Manufactured with consistent particle size and high carbon content to provide dependable electrical performance in long-term installations.

Optimized for ICCP Systems

Designed for use with MMO anodes, deep anode beds, distributed groundbeds, and other impressed current cathodic protection applications.

Proven Field Performance

Trusted throughout the corrosion industry for decades in utility, pipeline, marine, and industrial cathodic protection systems.

Typical Applications
