Overview
The CerAnode™ Zinc Underground Reference Electrode is a permanent zinc reference electrode engineered for long-term potential measurement in buried cathodic protection systems. Constructed with a high-purity zinc reference element, the ZN-ZN-2 provides a stable and predictable reference for pipe-to-soil potential measurements, CP system evaluation, and corrosion-control monitoring.
Designed for permanent underground service, the ZN-ZN-2 combines a durable zinc reference element with a protected assembly and engineered soil-contact environment. Application-specific backfill can be incorporated around the electrode to maintain consistent moisture and electrical contact, helping support reliable reference performance across changing soil conditions.
The ZN-ZN-2 is designed for integration into pipeline cathodic protection programs, permanent test stations, remote monitoring systems, rectifier control systems, and other buried infrastructure monitoring applications where long-term reference stability and durability are required.
