Reference Cells & Monitoring

CerAnode underwater silver/silver chloride reference electrode
AG-AGCL-1

Overview

The CerAnode™ Silver/Silver Chloride Underwater Reference Electrode is a submersible Ag/AgCl reference electrode engineered for accurate, stable potential measurement in cathodic protection and corrosion monitoring systems. Designed for marine and high-chloride environments, the electrode provides a reliable reference for structure-to-electrolyte potential measurements used to verify CP performance, monitor polarization, and support automated cathodic protection control.

The Ag/AgCl reference system is particularly well suited for seawater applications, where silver/silver chloride electrodes are widely used for monitoring marine structures and cathodic protection systems. A stable reference potential and low-drift performance support repeatable measurements during long-term monitoring.

Built for submerged service, the CerAnode™ Silver/Silver Chloride Underwater Reference Electrode is designed for permanent or semi-permanent installation and can be configured to meet project-specific cable, mounting, and connection requirements. Its rugged construction supports reliable operation on offshore platforms, marine pipelines, vessels, seawater structures, and other submerged assets.
