BI-POLAR SURGICAL JAWS SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT IN THE OPERATING ROOM. APS MATERIALS KNOWS YOU VALUE YOUR SURGICAL TOOLS LIKE YOU VALUE YOUR PATIENT’S LIFE.
Form, Fit, and Function
APS Materials has partnered with an industry leader in electrosurgeries, Primo Medical Group, to develop advanced coating solutions tailored to meet a variety of needs in medical procedures. Utmost importance is placed on stopping unwanted vessel bleeding quickly and reliably. Our thermal cautery coatings play a crucial role in enhancing the performance and safety of medical instruments used in procedures including:
- Dissection
- Hemostasis
- Suction Cautery
- Endoscopy
- Laparoscopy
With our expertise in coatings designed to prevent complications such as excessive blood loss and electrical burns to the patient and surgeon, we ensure the efficacy and reliability of your surgical tools.
Purpose and Protection, All in One
Our coatings are Engineered to improve patient outcomes and reduce risk of complications. The chemically inert thermal-sprayed aluminum oxide isolation dots or pads provide a few thousandths of an inch gap between bipolar electrodes, providing a barrier to prevent shorting and the resultant arcing in electrosurgical devices. Sealing surface contact is maintained without unintended tissue damage, forming the basis behind the conductive-resistance network needed to function. Ceramic jaw body coating also provides a thermal barrier as another advantage.
